Lil Wayne Plots 'Dedication' Tour With Rae Sremmurd

Lil Wayne will
put fans in far-off places first on his 2016 Dedication Tour,
announcing a string of dates between January and March in towns and
cities he’s rarely visited on previous treks.
The
19-date tour begins January 21st in El Paso, Texas, with rising hip-hop
duo Rae Sremmurd serving as openers for most of the tour. A complete
list of dates is below.
Tickets for the Dedication Tour go on sale December 4th via Live Nation (except where otherwise noted). Pre-sale tickets will be available to Citi card members and Tidal subscribers
on December 2nd at 12 p.m. and 10 a.m. local time, respectively. Those
with the Live Nation mobile app will be able to score
password-free pre-sale tickets December 3rd at 12 p.m.
Despite various label and legal woes, Wayne continues to focus on music, having just dropped a new mixtape, No Ceilings 2,
on Thanksgiving. The 21-track effort boasts guest appearances from
Future, Yo Gotti, Curren$y, Mannie Fresh, Jae Millz, Los, Gudda Gudda,
Baby E, Young Money singer Shanell and Wayne’s fellow Hot Boys member
Turk.
While No Ceilings 2 marks the official sequel to Wayne’s 2009 tape of the same name, it directly follows his July 4th offering, the Free Weezy Album. The rapper’s Tha Carter V remains tied up in a legal battle with Cash Money.
